I’m a Software & Web Developer

Hello! I’m Onyedikachi Nzute — a passionate Computer Science student and self-taught developer who loves turning ideas into real, working software. You can call me Kachi. I specialize in web and software development, with a growing focus on backend integration, clean user interfaces, and systems that make people’s lives easier.

I started learning programming out of curiosity, but it quickly grew into a full pursuit of mastery. I’m currently working through a personal 50-project roadmap — a hands-on challenge that allows me to explore different technologies, design principles, and problem-solving techniques through practical builds. Each project sharpens a specific skill, from REST APIs and databases to responsive UIs and automation scripts.

My development philosophy is simple: keep learning, keep building, and keep improving. I’m not afraid to take on complex problems, because I see every bug, error, or refactor as part of the growth process. I document my journey, track improvements, and always refactor old code to see how much I’ve learned.

My Goal:
To become a versatile full-stack developer capable of building production-level apps from start to finish — from the user interface to the backend logic. In the long term, I want to contribute to open-source projects and mentor new developers who are just beginning their journey.

Technical Focus:
I work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Node.js on the web side, while also exploring Python and databases like PostgreSQL and SQLite. My interests include API design, full-stack systems, software design, and performance optimization. I enjoy combining creativity with logic — designing user experiences that look great and work flawlessly.

Mindset & Work Ethic:
I value consistency, clarity, and reliability. Whether I’m building a portfolio site, debugging an API, or collaborating on a team project, I approach every line of code with precision and intent. I believe good software should be well-documented, scalable, and easy for others to understand.

Soft Skills & Collaboration:
Beyond code, I’m a strong communicator and fast learner. I adapt easily to new technologies and workflows, enjoy sharing ideas, and learn quickly from feedback. I’ve worked on team-based academic and personal projects where clear version control and task organization were key.

Outside of coding, I’m passionate about tech communities, design, and lifelong learning. I’m always reading about new frameworks, exploring UI trends, or experimenting with tools that make developers more efficient. My goal is not just to write code — but to create impact through it.
